SELF PORTRAIT - As a BIRD

SELF PORTRAITAs a Bird

2012. wood, ceramic, graphite and ink on rice paper, feathers 18”w x 24”d x 56”h

I can see myself cloaked in feathers to the floor, caped and wicked. It is a fanciful thought. Rich with colors -- secret and exposed. I know no such power but see kinship in the feathered kind.
